Here at the European Native Trout Challenge we would like to share our passion for fishing and nature and help protect unknown and endangerd salmonid species. We hope to do this by sharing information about all the salmonids and, make challenges to catch them all in a responsible way. With spreading this information and, participating in the challenges we hope to gather funds, which will be donated to organistions who help restore and protect these beautifull species and their habbitat. One off these species is the marble trout which was thought to be exctinct as a genetically pure species, but after finding pure poppulations and with the help of the tolmin angeling club and, the Fisheries Research Institute of Slovenia this species is once again rules parts of its native habitat. we hope that with our help people will think about their part in the protection of these vulnerable species and their unique habbitats.
