Ribiška Družina Soča.

The Soca Fishing club was founded in 1952. and they have their own fish farm in Solkan where they breed marble trout and they also invest in new grayling young. The grayling population in their waters is on the rise which is great news where the club is proud off. Sadly this population are still hybridised fish we hope that in the future the true Adriatic grayling will return to these waters.

Regulations.

• 1. Fly fishing is allowed on all waters of RD Soča. On the Soča it self fishing with a spinning rod is also allowed.
• 2. The fishing season starts 01-04-2024 and ends on 30-09-2024 with one exception.
• 2.1 Fly fishing season on the Soča end on 30-11-2024.
• 3. Spoon fishing is allowed with size 4 and larger.
• 4. Plug or silicon bait must be 7cm or bigger.
• 5. In October fly fishing is only allowed with bait smaller than 5cm.

Waters managed by RD Soca.

The RD Soca manages 2 rivers and one lake. The lake contains no native trout so it will not be described.
