Fly Fishing Alpe Adria was founded by Bruno Generali and is run together with a team of Italian and Slovenian guides. Based in Slovenia, the company offers guided fly fishing and related services on some of the country’s most beautiful rivers. With years of experience on the water, Bruno and his team create personalized trips for anglers of all levels, combining their local knowledge with a passion for native trout species and catch-and-release fly fishing.

Bruno and his Alpe Adria team guide across a broad range of fishing districts in Slovenia, and the Italian Dolomites giving guests the chance to experience everything from classic marble trout rivers to more relaxed grayling streams:

• ZZRS (Fisheries Research Institute waters) – A large network of rivers across Slovenia, often more accessible and well-suited for anglers of all levels. Great for exploring different regions and targeting multiple species.
• RD Tolmin – Legendary marble trout waters, including the Soča, Idrijca, and Bača, where the scenery is as unforgettable as the fishing.
• RD Mozirje – Located in the Savinja Valley, offering fast, clear alpine rivers with healthy populations of trout and grayling.
• RD Šempeter – Home to diverse stretches of the Savinja and its tributaries, combining easier access points with more technical sections.
• RD Bistrica Domžale – Close to Ljubljana, with productive waters that provide opportunities for trout and grayling not far from the capital.
