Andrea Carando.

Andrea Carando is an AIGUPP-certified fishing guide based in North-West Italy, guiding in the regions of Piedmont and Lombardy. His connection to fishing started at a very young age, watching anglers along canals as a child. At the age of seven he held his first rod, and since then fishing has become a central part of his life. With over 20 years of experience on rivers like the Sesia and its tributaries, Andrea offers more than just guided fishing. He focuses on creating a real connection with the river, combining technical skill with a deep respect for nature. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced angler, a day with Andrea is about discovering wild waters, learning new techniques, and enjoying the experience to the fullest. His philosophy is strongly rooted in catch and release and conservation. Andrea is actively involved in protecting the endangered marble trout and works closely with environmental initiatives. With a background as a qualified chemist, he also contributes to water protection efforts, bringing an extra level of knowledge and awareness to his guiding.
