Slovenian Native Slam - A hosted Fly Fishing Trip.
By the European Native Trout Challenge (ENTC).
Dates : 15 May – 22 May 2027
Group size: 6–8 anglers (maximum 9 only in specific booking combinations)
Location: Soča River Basin & Danube Basin (Slovenia)
Trip Concept.
This hosted fly fishing trip is designed as a small, immersive experience focused on Slovenia’s native salmonid species and the unique river systems that support them. Rather than a high-intensity trip focused purely on catch numbers, the week combines guided fishing, independent exploration and insight into local fisheries management and conservation. Participants will fish two distinct regions:
- The Soča River Basin (Adriatic drainage)
- The Danube Basin around Ljubljana
Target species include:
- Marble trout (Salmo marmoratus)
- Brown trout (Salmo trutta)
- European grayling (Thymallus thymallus)
Participants will also receive entry into the Slovenian Native Slam, including a certificate and commemorative button magnet.
