Ribiška Družina Mozirje (RD Mozirje).

Founded on 9 October 1955, Ribiška Družina Mozirje manages a large section of the upper Savinja basin, including the Savinja and Dreta rivers and their tributaries. The club's waters are predominantly alpine and support important populations of Brown Trout, European Grayling, and Huchen.
RD Mozirje also operates its own fish farm and has a long history of fisheries management, habitat protection, and fish breeding within the Savinja basin.

RD Mozirje manages two major rivers within the upper Savinja basin, both offering alpine river fishing for native Danube-basin salmonids.

• Savinja – The Savinja is a classic alpine river with clear, cool water, gravel and limestone beds, faster runs, and deeper pools around natural and artificial structures. The river supports Brown Trout and European Grayling and is particularly notable for its Huchen population.
• Dreta – The Dreta is an alpine tributary of the Savinja, flowing through a mixture of forested valleys, gravel-bottomed sections, pools, and faster runs. It supports Brown Trout and European Grayling and is also an important Huchen water.
  The river offers a more intimate alternative to the larger Savinja while retaining the characteristic clear, cold-water environment of the upper Savinja basin.

Licenses.

Fishing permits for RD Mozirje waters can be purchased through Ribiške Karte and at local sales points.
Guest permits are available for both the Savinja and Dreta, including multi-day Catch & Release fly-fishing permits. Separate Huchen permits are also available during the Huchen season.
