Ribiška Družina Radovljica (RD Radovljica).

Founded in 1953 by ten founding members, Ribiška Družina Radovljica manages waters in the upper Sava basin around Radovljica. Today, the club has around 150 members, including junior anglers, and manages both the Sava and several smaller waters in the surrounding area. The club is actively involved in fish breeding and operates its own fish farm for Brown Trout and Huchen. Brown Trout are also raised in breeding streams, with approximately 20,000 two-year-old Brown Trout released annually into the Sava. Brown Trout harvest is prohibited in the club's waters, reflecting the emphasis placed on maintaining the native population.

Waters Managed by RD Radovljica.

RD Radovljica manages sections of the Sava together with the much smaller Lipnica, providing two distinctly different salmonid fishing environments within the upper Sava basin.

• Sava – The Sava is the main river managed by RD Radovljica and offers classic larger-river fishing with clear water, gravel beds, faster runs, and deeper pools. The river supports Brown Trout and European Grayling, while Huchen provide an additional winter fishery. The club manages multiple sections of the Sava, including both regular fishing water and a dedicated Catch & Release section. The river is actively managed for its native Brown Trout population, including stocking with fish raised from the club's breeding streams.
• Lipnica – The Lipnica is a much smaller tributary offering a more intimate fishing environment than the Sava. Its narrower channel and smaller scale provide technical fly fishing for Brown Trout and European Grayling.
  Fishing is carried out with artificial flies, making the Lipnica a focused small-stream alternative to the larger Sava.

Licenses.

Fishing permits for RD Radovljica waters can be purchased through Ribiške Karte. Separate permits are available for the Sava and Lipnica, with different Catch & Release and Catch & Take options depending on the water. Dedicated Huchen permits are available for the Sava during the winter season.
