Ribiška Družina Vevče (RD Vevče).

Founded in 1955, Ribiška Družina Vevče manages several waters in the eastern part of Ljubljana and the surrounding area. The club has a long history of managing the Ljubljanica and its connected waterways, with fisheries management focused on maintaining the diverse fish populations of the Danube basin.
The club's waters range from urban sections of the Ljubljanica to smaller tributary streams. Among the native salmonids, the area supports Brown Trout, European Grayling, and Huchen.

• Ljubljanica – The Ljubljanica is the main river managed by RD Vevče. The river changes considerably through the district, from urban sections with rapids, channels, and deeper pools to wider downstream stretches with backwaters, shallower channels, and gravel areas.
  The river supports a diverse fish community, including Brown Trout, European Grayling, and Huchen, alongside numerous cyprinid and predatory species. The Ljubljanica is particularly notable for the possibility of catching Huchen in an urban river environment.
• Dobrunjščica – Dobrunjščica is a small spring-fed tributary and a much more intimate fishing environment than the Ljubljanica. The narrow stream provides opportunities for fly fishing and spin fishing for Brown Trout.
  Its small size and character make it a more technical fishery where careful presentation is important.

Fishing permits for RD Vevče waters can be purchased through Ribiške Karte or directly through the club's local sales point. The club lists permits for individual fishing districts, with the permitted fishing methods and target species depending on the specific permit.
